The Jones Road "Clean" standards are outlined in our brand's black-list guidelines, shared for the awareness of our customers, contract manufacturers, and packaging vendors.  The ingredients we choose for our formulas are considered safe for use in cosmetics and can be a blend of naturally derived and synthetic raw materials.  We meet the domestic and global regulatory requirements for products sold on the market.  Every product line goes through safety testing, and each formula receives a full toxicology assessment for its intended use.

Jones Road keeps a close eye on the domestic and global regulatory landscape wherever our products are sold, making sure our formulas stay safe, compliant, high quality and thoughtfully made.

Just Enough Tinted Moisturizer, The Mascara, Gel Liner, most of our skin care, and our brushes are vegan. You can browse the full vegan lineup here.

A few other items in our range include beeswax and carmine. Those ingredients aren't vegan, but we consider them the best choice for building formulas that perform well and stay safe.

Every Jones Road product is cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny Certified.

All Jones Road products are made without gluten. They are not produced in gluten-free facilities.

Jones Road products are developed and manufactured in the United States, Canada and Germany.

Jones Road works to use recyclable packaging wherever it can. Our unit cartons are made from 100% recyclable Forest Stewardship Council®-certified post-consumer fiber, and our product shippers are recyclable too. Some plastic packaging may or may not be recyclable depending on state and local municipality rules, which vary across the country. For components that can be easily rinsed or cleaned, we suggest placing them in your appropriate recycling containers. We encourage you to follow your local recycling guidelines for proper disposal.

Cleaning your makeup brushes on a regular basis is key to good hygiene and to avoiding skin problems. Here's a simple guide to washing your makeup brushes:

What you'll need:

• Mild soap or baby shampoo
• Warm water
• Towel or paper towels
• Brush cleaning mat or glove (optional)

Steps:

1. Gather Your Brushes: Collect all the brushes you'd like to clean.
2. Rinse the Bristles: Hold the brush under lukewarm water, letting only the bristles get wet. Keep water out of the ferrule (the metal part that holds the bristles).
3. Soap or Shampoo: Put a small amount of mild soap or baby shampoo in your hand or a shallow dish.
4. Lather the Bristles: Gently swirl the brush bristles in the soap to work up a lather. A brush cleaning mat or glove can help with this step.
5. Cleanse Thoroughly: Move the lather through the bristles, focusing on the base where makeup residue tends to build up.
6. Rinse Again: Rinse the bristles under running water until all the soap is gone. Keep the brush pointing down so water stays out of the ferrule.
7. Repeat if Necessary: If the brush is very dirty, repeat the steps until the water runs clear.
8. Gently Squeeze Out Water: Gently press excess water out of the bristles with your fingers, being careful not to bend the brush out of shape.
9. Reshape the Brushes: Reshape the bristles back to their original form. Lay the brushes flat on a towel to dry, which keeps water from running into the ferrule.
10. Allow to Air Dry: Let the brushes dry fully before using them again. Skip the hairdryer, since heat can damage the bristles.

Other Tips:

• Clean your brushes at least once a week, especially the ones used for liquid or cream products.
• Use a gentle, antibacterial soap so the brushes get thoroughly cleaned.

Cleaning your makeup brushes regularly keeps your tools in good shape and helps you apply makeup to a clean canvas, lowering the risk of skin issues.

• We suggest starting with a lighter hand, since it's much easier to add than to take away. 
• You can also apply the balm with your fingers and then keep blending it into your skin with a brush. This lets the product absorb into your fingertips a bit so it won't feel as heavy on the skin.
• Tapping it on rather than rubbing it across the face can also help with the application and how it sits on the skin. 
• Finally, feel free to lightly powder over the balm in any areas where you think you may need it.

• Begin with un-prepped skin and skip your morning moisturizer. You may find the WTF absorbs better with nothing underneath it. It's also full of skin-loving ingredients, so you won't have to give up skincare benefits.
• Apply a few small dots and blend them in with the warmth of your hands. Then add a second sheer layer if you'd like more coverage.
• Use a wide, fluffy brush instead of a powder puff to apply powder. This spreads the product gently without looking cakey and can cut shine without taking away the product's moisture.

If you're still not loving it, our Face Pencil could be a good alternative. They aren't as dewy on the skin and offer a bit more coverage as well.

You can check your order status on your Account page—the status updates as soon as your order is placed and again once your order ships.

Orders are processed Monday - Friday, apart from US holidays. Orders are usually fulfilled and shipped within 3-4 business days. Once your order ships, you'll get an email with tracking information.

We're unable to make changes to an order once it's submitted, but if you'd like to cancel it, please reach out to our customer support team and we'll do our best.

Jones Road accepts all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept PayPal.

Jones Road Beauty offers optional Package Protection to guard your online purchases against loss, damage, or theft in transit. By adding Package Protection at checkout, your order gets a faster resolution for any shipping-related issues—letting us send a replacement of your original order at no extra cost to you if it's lost, damaged, or stolen after the carrier's proof of delivery.

Claim Process:
Filing a claim is simple. If Package Protection was added to your order and your shipment runs into any of the situations above, we guarantee a full replacement order that's processed and shipped out quickly, at no extra cost to you.

Please contact our dedicated customer support team within 7 days of the carrier's posted delivery date and we'll help with all Package Protection claims. We'll support you at every step of the claims process and make sure your no-cost replacement order is complete and arrives smoothly.

US: Free standard shipping for orders over $55. For orders under $55, shipping is $8.95.

EU: Free standard shipping for orders over €85 EUR. Denmark: Free standard shipping for orders over 600 kr. For orders under 600 kr, shipping is 65 kr.

Hungary: Free standard shipping for orders over Ft35000. For orders under Ft35000, shipping is Ft3500.

Poland: Free standard shipping for orders over 400 zł. For orders under 400 zł, shipping is 45 zł.

Romania: Free standard shipping for orders over 500 lei. For orders under 500 lei, shipping is 45 lei.

Sweden: Free standard shipping for orders over 900 kr. For orders under 900 kr, shipping is 95 kr.

Australia: Free standard shipping for orders over A$150. For orders under A$150, shipping is A$15. Note: Orders including fragrances or other hazmat products are not eligible for free standard shipping.

New Zealand: Free standard shipping for orders over NZ$165. For orders under NZ$165, shipping is NZ$15. Note: Orders including fragrances or other hazmat products are not eligible for free standard shipping.

Sales tax is applied to all US orders at checkout.

For Canadian orders, any applicable duties or import taxes are collected at checkout.
